SAMSACU SUPPOTRS UNDERPRIVILIGED  STUDENTS. THE UNIVERSITY OPENS THE DOOR OF GREAT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM

“Ending poverty — a step toward a just society!”

In 2024, the total number of students at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction amounted to 8,483. Financial assistance was provided to 200 students from low-income families.

Note: In 2024, the university had 14 international students, none of whom required financial support.

The student deans’ tutors of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction — Makhliyo Akhmedova, Asliddin Nabiyev, Akbar Tursunov, and Ikrom Pirmatov — organized a trip to Shahrisabz, Qashqadaryo region, for the students of the Faculty of Construction on December 3, in honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

During the trip, students visited the Oqsaroy architectural complex and the Amir Timur monument. The well-preserved gardens in the Oqsaroy area, the tomb of Jahongir Mirzo, as well as the museum displaying historical artifacts from the 14th–15th centuries, aroused great interest among the students.

The legal knowledge of students in need of social protection and those with disabilities was strengthened.

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the student deans’ tutors of Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction organized visits for talented students and students with disabilities to the Administrative Court of Samarkand Region and the Inter-District Administrative Court.

During the visit, a dialogue with the judges was arranged to strengthen the students’ legal knowledge. The students received detailed answers to their questions and had the opportunity to observe court proceedings firsthand.

“Career Day” Job Fair between Graduates and Employers at Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction.

On May 15, 2024, a “Career Day” job fair was held at the university to assist graduates and students in finding employment. During the event, graduates and employers engaged in direct, face-to-face communication.   The job fair featured 59 major companies, enterprises, and organizations operating in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and construction, offering a total of 746 vacant positions. Nearly 600 graduating students of the university attended the fair to explore the available job opportunities.

Currently, the university has 8,679 students enrolled. In the current academic year, 1,576 students are graduating, including 1,566 undergraduates and 10 master’s students.

  During the job fair, direct interviews between employers and graduates took place. As a result, approximately 120 graduates signed tripartite agreements, including 86 for submitting resumes and 34 for direct employment.

On May 15, 2024, the university held a “Career Day” job fair to support graduates and students in securing employment. The event provided an opportunity for graduates and employers to engage in direct, face-to-face interactions.
The job fair featured 59 leading companies, enterprises, and organizations from the fields of architecture, urban planning, and construction, offering a total of 746 vacant positions. Nearly 600 graduating students attended the fair to explore these employment opportunities.

The university currently enrolls 8,679 students, with 1,576 scheduled to graduate this academic year, including 1,566 undergraduates and 10 master’s students.
